Von appleblog, 25.03.2011, 02:48Lenovo likes all-in-ones. At least, that's where they see the most desktop potential in the short-term.Asus laptop battery At CES this year, the Chinese computer giant showed off fournew models, including one they call the world's thinnest, and another which uses a lag-free, 23-inch, capacitive multi-touch screen.
Lenovo categorizes their all-in-ones in three different varieties: the 'A' Series, the 'B' Series and the 'C' Series, Dell laptop battery all members of the IdeaCentre family.
The A series uses mobile technology to achieve wild form factors and modern, experimental designs. Using notebook parts lets Lenovo make the units thinner and more impressive than most.
The B series uses desktop components to bring the kind of powerhouse technology desktops traditionally offer,HP laptop battery making up in performance what they lose in svelte physiques.
The C series takes advantage of netbook and nettop components such as the Intel Atom to bring all-in-one experiences down to the most affordable levels, often starting well under $500.
Lenovo IdeaCentre B520
The IdeaCentre B520 is the first multi-touch all-in-one to use a frameless display design. Fujitsu laptop battery Most, including prior Lenovo models, require a large bezel thanks to the type of touch technology used in the display. The B520 uses a Projected Capacitive Touch screen, however, which allows for the seamless look as well as lag-free response.
In addition to the beautiful screen, the IdeaCentre B520 sits as king of the hill for Lenovo's all-in-one efforts, packing high-end discrete graphics, Core i7 CPU options, optional NVIDIA 3D Vision and SRS "premium sound." HP The B520 will be available in June of this year, with a starting price of $699.
Lenovo IdeaCentre B320
Where the IdeaCentre B520 provides the most powerful Lenovo all-in-one experience, the IdeaCentre B320 steps it back a notch, blending itself with a TV for a unique hybrid solution.
Lenovo calls the feature Hardware TV, or HWTV. The IdeaCentre B320 is both a TV and a computer,Sony laptop battery not just a computer with a TV tuner. As a result, users can watch TV without the computer being on, or switch between both while running concurrently. Thanks to a specially-programmed remote control, the B320 also supports handy picture-in-picture modes.
This model uses Core i5 CPUs and a 21.5-inch screen, but keeps the 1920 x 1080 resolution.Acer laptop Akku Multi-touch options are available, but the IdeaCentre B320 sticks to more affordable Surface Acoustive Wave technology - as a result, this screen gets stuck with the bezel that the B520 lost.
Available in June, the B320 will offer users the same starting $699 price point.
Lenovo IdeaCentre C205
As mentioned before, the Lenovo IdeaCentre 'C' series puts affordability at the forefront, letting users snag a new all-in-one without breaking the bank. The IdeaCentre C205 supports 720p video out of the box and, with an integrated webcam, Apple laptop battery microphone and speakers, suggests an easy way for users to communicate with VoIP and video technologies.
Unlike prior generations, which often stuck to a single or dual-core Atom, Asus laptop battery the C205 uses AMD's Dual-core E-350 CPU and AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics. It's also available with a discrete ATI Radeon HD5450 GPU with 1 GB of video memory. At the base configuration, the 18.5-inch screen is just glass, but the unit can be configured with an optional single-touch display.
The design is sleek and simple, Dell laptop battery with more than a little nod to HP's low-end all-in-ones. Availability has yet to be determined, but the suggested starting price is just $449.99.
Lenovo IdeaCentre A320
With an eye-catching design that Lenovo calls "the industry's slimmest",Asus the new A320 is only three-quarters of an inch thick at its thinnest point. Using the off-center support structure first seen at CES 2010, the new IdeaCentre uses a 21.5-inch, LED-backlit, 1080p display.
Like the other new all-in-ones, HP battery the A320 uses Intel's Sandy Bridge CPU technology - but sticks to the Core i5 level. This model is a great choice for dorm rooms and bedrooms, thanks to its HDMI in andout ports. Users will be able to take advantage of the display for use with televisions' smart boxes and video game Acer system.
